Labor license documents in Aurangabad Maharashtra Comprehensive business process re-engineering of the current manual office procedure for the disposal of applications obtained for registration, renewal, amendment of the certificate of registration or license under the various labor laws was carried out by the Office of the Labour Commissioner.
The new procedure was redesigned after B.P.R., and the different steps in the manual system were dispensed with. Under the present process, the application is sent to the Concern Registering / Licensing Authority for review and, after evaluation, either approves or rejects the application on grounds of refusal.
Process of filling the application Documents
- Go to log in on the website www.lms.mahaonline.gov.in
- Create your username and password.
- Login a service dashboard available online will be accessible.
- Select the service and accordingly the concern application
- Fill the application form upload documents and finally make payment.
- After the payment application is successfully submitted.
If the application is either incomplete or proper fees or documents are not submitted, the same will be refused on grounds of denial and e-mail will be sent to the applicant accordingly. If the application is either incomplete or proper fees or documents are not uploaded the same is rejected with reasons of rejection and accordingly E-mail is sent to the applicant.

A labour contractor who employe labours under principal workers is required to take labour license from labour department of the state.

The fee for amendment of registration certificate, is Rs. 25/- for per change. The fee for transfer of registration certificate is Rs. 25/-.

On June 23, 2015., with the following objectives:—
Improving transparency in the inspection system in order to encourage workers and employers to concentrate on their company’s core issues
A modern structure for
the implementation of different labour laws, simplifying the management of the different records and registers required by the various labour laws.
Reduction of visits by government officers/inspectors to inspect shops/establishments/factories without sacrificing the safety, health, welfare and social security of workers/employees
Enable all stores/establishments/factories to generate annual consolidated returns instead of multiple returns under different labor laws.
By amending the Maharashtra Contract Labour Laws, 2015, through Notification No-CLA-10/2014/C.R.264/Lab.-10.- dated 01/06/2016, the Government has set a time limit of 7 working days for issuing a license under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970. Failure to have, as considered, registration or renewal.
The Government has prescribed an online inspection framework for the Department of Labour and the Commissioner of Labour.
