Many of you ask me a question, ‘How I get into Investment Banking (IB)’.

I always say that if you are one who is not been able to directly get into IB or if you are working for a IB company but at the backend and is really not enjoying the job, then align yourself to the Corporate Finance department of an industry first, gain experience for some years and then try for IB as that would surely give you a much better chance to undertake the work that you always desire.

To get foothold in the Corporate Finance Department of this industry, there are certain aspects around Technical, Market and Finance that you shall be aware of.
